Tools Required:
- Phillips head screw driver
- Adjustable Wrench
1. Twist adjustment knobs (fig. #1) to the open (loose)
position. Adjust to the appropriate frame
configuration for your vehicle type as shown above.
Twist adjustment knobs (fig. #1) to the
closed (tight) position .
2. Attach the six enclosed rubber straps to the six individual mounting cradles (fig. #2).
To attach,
stretch rubber opening over plastic tab at top of the
mounting cradles.
3. Tighten bolt and nut on each mounting cradle (fig. #2).
4. Note: There are six strap buckles (fig. #4) attached to the frame. Two on top, two
center and two on
bottom. Included are six mounting straps.
5. Attach the four "top/side straps" (fig. #3) to each of the top two and center
two strap buckles (fig. #4).
Press buckle release button and feed strap end
through as shown in fig. #4.
6. The two remaining straps must be attached to the lower hooks (fig. #5). Feed strap end
through
hook loop and back through metal loop on opposing
strap end. Pull tight.
7. Now attach the two lower hook strap assemblies to the two lower strap buckles as
described
in previous step #5.
8. Mount rack on vehicle. Attach top two straps with rubberized hooks (fig. #3) to top of
trunk, top of
cargo door or tailgate. Attach side straps (fig. #3)
to each side of the trunk, tailgate or cargo doors.
9. Attach two lower hook straps (fig. #5) to underside of vehicle frame or bumper.
10 . Tighten straps securely.
11. Adjust individual mounting cradles to suit each bike and tighten into position.
12. Use rubber cradle straps to secure bikes (fig. #2).
